Wishing Dark at Adhocracy 2012 (June 9 – 11 2012)

Wishing Dark has been selected to be part of Adhocracy 2012! The annual event presented by Vitalstatistix, Adelaide, is a “make ‘n’ show hothouse” over the June long weekend. This will be the first creative development and i will be working very closely with sound artist Ashley Scott. A durational performance, it will explore those dark liminal places we sometimes find ourselves in an attempt to unravel and recover the answers to a mysterious circumstance. Read more here

March – August 2011

Part time Fraser Studios performing arts residency at Queen Street Studios. During this time Julie is in creative research and  development for a new live art work I Remember this City. Julie is working remotely with Richard Hancock and Traci Kelly (hancock & kelly live UK).

May – July 2011

In creative development for a new site specific performance work Spotlight Bunny. Working with sound artist Ashley Scott and emerging performing arts collective Friends with Deficits the work will be part of the Underbelly Arts Lab and Festival on Cockatoo Island, Sydney in June/July.
